Consumer Perceptions in Advertising

What kind of project is it and why do you want me to participate?

We are two Master’s thesis students from Karlstad University, inviting you to participate in our survey. This survey is part of our research study examining attitudes and perceptions on AI disclosure in marketing and advertising. Your answers will help us understand more about consumer perceptions regarding AI disclosure in marketing, and is for academic purposes only.

The survey takes 5 minutes to complete. You will be shown an advertisement, and asked to answer a range of questions regarding your opinions and perceptions related to the advertisement.

How is my personal data processed?

No personally identifiable information will be collected, and the information you provide in this survey cannot be connected back to you. The results within the study will be published in our thesis through an institutional data repository.

Your answers and results will be processed in a manner as to prevent unauthorised access, and they will only be processed within IT systems and services with the adequate level of security. Following the examination and approval of our thesis, all the collected data herein will be erased. 

Karlstad University is the entity principally responsible for the research and the personal data controller of your personal data.
